This role requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on Med-Surg, and Telemetry experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP and is comfortable working in a mixed pediatric-adult unit. Shift Details: - Schedule: Night Shift (3x12 hour) from 18:45 - 07:15- Ratio: 1:5- Every other weekend coverage required- Float between units as needed Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including those with pediatric needs.- Manage feeding tube care, IV therapy, and phlebotomy.- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a high standard of patient care.- Document patient care using Meditech; familiarity with this system is preferred.- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control practices.- Be flexible and responsive to the needs of the unit and patients. Qualifications: - Current BLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred.- Must have a valid nursing license (OK or compact state license).- Prior experience in a medical-surgical unit is essential.- Experience with telemetry is a plus.- Willingness to work with a mixed pediatric population.- Must include any requested time off (RTO) with your application.
