As a vital member of our healthcare facility, you will provide advanced nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients. This role requires in-depth knowledge and clinical expertise in managing acutely ill children, as well as strong communication skills to work with families and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition.- Assess and monitor patients' conditions and responses to treatments.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.- Educate families on health management and care requirements.- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records. Qualifications: - Minimum of 24 months of current PICU nursing experience (required).- Active certifications in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross (required).- Must possess an active nursing license with verification not older than 30 days.- No Nursys Hits. Additional Information: - The candidate must have a home address outside of Arizona, as candidates with an AZ address on their driver's license will not be considered.- Flu vaccination is required; declinations can be processed if necessary.- All requests for time off (RTO) must be noted upfront and cannot exceed 7 days or be taken within the first week of assignment or during holidays. - Candidates are encouraged to specify all experienced departments, shifts, and locations they are open to.
