This position primarily focuses on pediatric patients, with potential flexibility to adult orthopedics and adult neurology as needed. Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to pediatric patients, specializing in conditions such as developmental delays, autism, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and neurological disorders.- Conduct patient assessments, evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans that include long and short-term goals.- Support infant and young children's development, particularly in the birth to 5 years age range, through proficiency in skills such as AROM, AAROM, PROM, strength testing, and sensory response assessments.- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, safety measures, and signs of various forms of abuse.- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, utilizing adaptive devices and equipment to meet patient needs effectively.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Epic charting system, demonstrating compliance with all health regulations and facility policies.- Participate in required training and complete all compliance tasks within the specified deadlines. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in pediatric rehabilitation therapy within an outpatient setting.- Active North Carolina state license and BLS certification required.- Proficiency in the Epic charting system is mandatory.- Proven experience with assessing cognitive disorders, developmental milestones, and various pediatric conditions. Preferred Skills: - Experience with adult rehabilitation is a plus but not required.- Strong time management skills and ability to handle a patient ratio of 1 to 1.- Excellent communication skills for patient and family education purposes. Work Environment: - The rehabilitation clinic offers PT, OT, and ST services, with a daily patient census of approximately 9 individuals and an emphasis on pediatric diagnoses such as torticollis, cerebral palsy, and genetic abnormalities.At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
