American Traveler seeks an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient pediatric assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years' pediatric outpatient experience and NC state licensure.Job Details•Work in an outpatient rehab clinic in a rural community health setting,•Primary caseload is pediatric patients, with majority ages birth to 5 years,•May flex to adult ortho or neuro populations as needed,•Patient diagnoses include developmental delay, autism, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and genetic abnormalities,•Clinic provides PT, OT, and ST services,•Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour variable shifts (typically 8:45am to 5:15pm),•Use of EPIC EMR required,•Floating to other campuses may be required,Job Requirements•Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric outpatient physical therapy experience required,•BLS certification required,•Active North Carolina PT license required; license required if applicable,•Experience with pediatric populations ages birth to 5 years required,•Outpatient setting experience required,•EPIC experience required,•Not open to first-time travelers,•Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility-no local candidates accepted,Additional Information•Duties include assessment, evaluation, development of long- and short-term goals, and discharge planning for pediatric patients,•Perform treatments including AROM/AAROM/PROM, body mechanics instruction, strength and sensory testing, pain and milestone assessment,•Develop individualized programs and home exercise plans,•Provide education to patients and families on safety, injury prevention, and signs of abuse,•Experience with cognitive disorders, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, spina bifida, scoliosis, and early intervention programs is required,•Must demonstrate proficiency in time management and adapting to schedule changes,•Must adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences,•Orientation modules completed during orientation (2-4 hours average),•RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of application; time off post-submission not permitted,),•hash,:• ,
