Administrative Coordinator 2
The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth, who will become productive, law-abiding citizens. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator 2 to support daily office operations and assist with administrative tasks that are essential to the agencys mission. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is organized, and enjoys working as part of a team committed to youth rehabilitation and public safety. An ideal candidate will possess the following core competencies: Accepting Direction: The ability to accept and follow directions from those higher in the chain of command. Demonstrating Accountability: The ability to accept ownership for your actions, behaviors, performance, and decisions. Managing Resources: The ability to ensure resources such as time, money, and people are utilized appropriately to result in maximum business value. Minimum qualifications include: One year of experience in administrative services. Experience substitution: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience. Job duties include: Performing clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document preparation. Answering phones, routing calls, and responding to routine inquiries. Maintaining records, logs, and reports in accordance with agency procedures. Assisting with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating calendars. Supporting purchasing, inventory tracking, and supply management. Handling incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence. Providing general support to supervisors and program staff. Position-specific details: Work location: This vacancy is located at the Acadiana Center for Youth in Bunkie, Louisiana. Appointment type: Part time.
