Project & Contract Manager
The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for a Project & Contract Manager in the Construction Division of the City Manager's Office to direct the management and oversight of City construction projects, including project pre-planning, scheduling, deadlines, and budgeting; manage the design, construction, and close-out of a wide variety of projects; oversee and manage staff; and provide responsible and complex staff support to the City Manager's Office. Open until filled. Initial screening of candidates will begin Monday, August 04, 2025. Incomplete applications will not be processed. A resume will not be considered in determining your qualifications for this position. Minimum qualifications: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Eight years of increasingly responsible experience in civil engineering, contract management or construction project management. Grant management experience preferred. Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, civil engineering, public administration, business administration or a related field. Licensing & certifications: Required: None. Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP). From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last 4 - 6 weeks.
