This company, a global leader in automotive safety technology, is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to develop infrared-based thermal imaging systems for the next generation of active safety products. Base pay range

$165,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

Annual Bonus Position Description

Working closely with the systems engineering team, youll develop the software (primarily C++) critical for communications, image quality enhancement, traceability, and sensor calibration for next generation thermal imaging. Company Information

Responsibilities Review, analyze, and decompose product requirements Develop C++ applications to expand image analysis capabilities Revision control and configuration management Development of installer package for software application deployments Oversee testing Conduct risk analysis (DFMEA/DRBFM) At as a technical interface to other teams (manufacturing, quality, etc.), customers, and suppliers Explore new sensor options, working with suppliers in this space

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with 10+ years of experience in application software development. Background in thermal imaging systems (infrared) is required, though they'll also consider West Coast engineers with a background in other ADAS/autonomous driving perception systems (such as LiDAR). Excellent C/C++ development skills, along with a good systems-level understanding of these products. Knowledge of hardware/software interfaces, Windows applications, embedded applications, and software configuration management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be a technical representative to suppliers.

Compensation

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation can be considered for high-level candidates. This is a direct-hire position, with a full benefit package. Seniority level
