American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a valid CA license and Epic EMR proficiency.Job Details•Position is based in an acute care hospital setting within the Echo/Cardiac department,•Average daily caseload of 16 studies per technologist,•Shift is Monday through Friday, day shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM,•On-call required every third weekend and two weeknights until 10:00 PM,•Floating may occur between nearby affiliate hospitals as needed,•Charting is completed using Epic EMR,•Scrubs are provided for the department,•Free parking is available onsite,Job Requirements•Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer required,•Current valid CA license required if applicable,•Experience with Epic EMR is required,•Must provide current certifications and documentation for consideration,•Minimum of 2 supervisory references from the past 3 years covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty,•Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rate,•Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year,Additional Information•Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler,•All travelers may float between facilities within the state if needed,•Expect completion of pre-start and annual online modules, averaging 16 hours,•Minimal or no time off is preferred; large amounts of RTO may hinder selection,•Refusal to float as required may result in termination of assignment,•Information about local housing availability should be considered as options may be limited,],•hash,:•17053639292716919549,
