Business Law/Investment Management Senior Counsel or Associate

Overview

Quarles & Brady LLP, an Am Law 200 law firm, seeks a transactional associate with at least three years of experience or a senior counsel with at least 8 years of experience to join the investment management team of our Business Law Group in one of our office locations.

Office Locations: Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, Tucson, Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Experience in a wide variety of investment management matters, including investment adviser, investment company, and broker-dealer regulatory compliance and formation
• Institutional investor representation; private fund formation; transactions in the investment management space and other general corporate work
• Strong academic credentials, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with both lawyers and non-lawyers inside and outside the firm

Qualifications

• Three years of experience for an associate or eight years for a senior counsel in investment management matters
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration abilities

Compensation and Benefits

Quarles & Brady offers competitive salaries, bonuses and great benefits to employees including paid time off, health, vision, dental, 401k, life, disability and more. Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours. Compensation is determined by the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, education and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The salary range for individuals located in Chicago and Washington D.C. is $190,000 to $265,000. The range for individuals located in Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, and Tucson is $175,000 to $250,000.
