Business Law/Investment Management Senior Counsel or Associate

Overview
Quarles & Brady LLP, an Am Law 200 law firm, seeks a transactional associate with at least three years of experience or a senior counsel with at least 8 years of experience to join the investment management team of our Business Law Group in one of our office locations.
Office Locations: Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, Tucson, Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
- Provide transactional and advisory services in investment management matters, including regulatory compliance and formation for investment advisers, investment companies, and broker-dealers.
- Represent institutional investors; participate in private fund formation; handle transactions in the investment management space and other general corporate work.
- Collaborate with partners, lawyers, and non-lawyers inside and outside the firm.
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience as a transactional associate or at least eight years of experience as a senior counsel in investment management or related fields.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with both lawyers and non-lawyers inside and outside the firm.

Compensation and Benefits
The firm offers competitive salaries, bonuses, and benefits including paid time off, health, vision, dental, 401k, life, disability, and more. Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours.
Salary ranges by location: for Chicago and Washington, D.C. — $190,000 to $265,000; for Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, and Tucson — $175,000 to $250,000.
