Business Law/Investment Management Senior Counsel or Associate
Quarles & Brady LLP, an Am Law 200 law firm, seeks a transactional associate with at least three years of experience or a senior counsel with at least 8 years of experience to join the investment management team of our Business Law Group in one of our office locations.
Office Locations: Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, Tucson, Washington, D.C.
The ideal candidate would have experience in a wide variety of investment management matters, including investment adviser, investment company, and broker-dealer regulatory compliance and formation; institutional investor representation; private fund formation; transactions in the investment management space and other general corporate work. Excellent academic credentials and strong organizational skills and experience are a must. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with both lawyers and non-lawyers - inside and outside the firm - are essential.

Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, education and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The range for this position for individuals physically located in Chicago and Washington, D.C. is $190,000 to $265,000. The range for this position for individuals physically located in Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, and Tucson is $175,000 to $250,000.
