Overview

Quarles & Brady LLP, an Am Law 200 law firm, seeks a transactional associate with at least three years of experience or a senior counsel with at least eight years of experience to join the investment management team of our Business Law Group in one of our office locations.

Office Locations: Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, Tucson, Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Handle investment management matters including investment adviser, investment company, and broker-dealer regulatory compliance and formation.
  • Represent institutional investors.
  • Participate in private fund formation and transactions in the investment management space.
  • Perform general corporate work related to investment management.
  • Collaborate with lawyers and non-lawyers inside and outside the firm.

Qualifications

  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong organizational skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with both lawyers and non-lawyers inside and outside the firm.
  • For the role: either a transactional associate with at least three years of experience or a senior counsel with at least eight years of experience.

Compensation

Quarles & Brady offers competitive salaries and benefits. Compensation is determined by location, responsibilities, experience, education, and other job-related factors. The range for individuals located in Chicago and Washington D.C. is $190,000 to $265,000. The range for individuals located in Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, and Tucson is $175,000 to $250,000.
