Overview
Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for an Associate Attorney on behalf of our client, a well-established civil litigation firm. This is a hybrid position in San Francisco, CA .
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex civil litigation, preferably with exposure to antitrust matters or class actions. You’ll be working on cutting-edge cases that shape markets and industries, advocating for fair competition and consumer rights.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own docket of complex civil litigation and class action cases
- Draft high-quality complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests/responses
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and conduct hearings
- Handle mediations and settlement negotiations
- Examine witnesses at trial and contribute to trial strategy
- Supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff
- Collaborate with co-counsel on large-scale litigation efforts
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in California
- Civil litigation experience, preferably in antitrust, class actions, or complex business disputes
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience managing multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Compensation
Base pay range: $230,000.00/yr - $260,000.00/yr. This position offers an annual salary between $230,000-$260,000 in addition to a full benefits package.
