Pay Information $2,434 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in a large hospital setting License: Active RN License Certifications: Active BLS - must be AHA Must-Have: Min 1 year recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting, 200 beds Willing and able to float to any Medical Surgical unit across multiple locations if needed Travel experience highly preferred Experience working in a busy level one trauma center EPIC experience Description: This position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of 1 year of previous Medical Surgical experience. The role involves managing adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs. The nurse will be responsible for inpatient electronic documentation and conducting assessments. Skills, education, and necessary equipment include the use of electronic charting systems and other inpatient equipment. The nurse will work 12-hour shifts with a schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5 during days and 1:5-6 during nights. Clinicians must badge in and out of the facility. Scrub color is navy blue. Previous employment with this facility must have an end date of at least 6 months prior to application. The position may involve floating to other units and departments as needed. Candidates living within a 60-mile radius are not eligible for this position. Local rates and adjustments will apply to candidates living within 80 miles.
