The role involves managing adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs. The nurse will be responsible for inpatient electronic documentation and conducting assessments. Skills, education, and necessary equipment include the use of electronic charting systems and other inpatient equipment. The nurse will work 12-hour shifts with a schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5 during days and 1:5-6 during nights. Clinicians must badge in and out of the facility. Scrub color is navy blue. Previous employment with this facility must have an end date of at least 6 months prior to application. The position may involve floating to other units and departments as needed. Candidates living within a 60-mile radius are not eligible for this position.
