About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Private Equity Accounting Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the review of quarterly fund reporting, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of various financial documents, and overseeing investor reporting. This role also involves managing cash activity and reconciliations, maintaining relationships with external partners, and collaborating with internal teams to support operational improvements. A key aspect of the position is mentoring and developing junior team members, as well as leading or contributing to strategic initiatives.
Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' of relevant experience, with a background in both public accounting (audit) and private equity fund accounting. A Bachelor's degree in accounting and a CPA are mandatory. The role requires advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Investran and InvestorVision is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, process improvement, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential for this position.
