Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our HR team on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, youll provide strategic and hands-on support in key HR functions including employee relations, compliance, talent management, and organizational development. Youll work closely with managers and employees across the organization to foster a positive and productive work environment that aligns with Dealer Tires mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to department leaders, providing guidance on HR policies, performance management, and employee development.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues while ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee part-time HR initiatives including engagement programs, onboarding/offboarding, and remote workforce support.
  • Assist with policy updates, employee handbook revisions, and internal communications.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on part-time hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Provide coaching to supervisors and team members to improve performance and engagement.
  • Ensure HR processes and practices align with Dealer Tires culture and DEI objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters or HR certification a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Manager or Business Partner role.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams).

Working Hours:

  • Approximately 2025 hours per week.
  • Flexible schedule with some availability during core business hours (Eastern Time preferred).
