Saint Johns Resort is seeking a polished and service-driven Human Resources Generalist to join our team during an exciting period of transformation and growth.
As part of the Schulte Boutique + Luxury division of Schulte Hospitality Group, Saint Johns Resort is a premier independent property rooted in tradition and elevated by our recent property expansion, including the debut of the stunning Monarch Ballroom and our brand-new Championship Cardinal Golf Course .
We're searching for an HR professional with a culture-first mentality , who upholds high standards with grace, provides luxury-level internal service, and thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment. This role will work closely with department managers and our Director of Human Resources while receiving above-property HR support from Schulte for benefits administration, leave management, and compliance.

Process biweekly payroll and maintain accurate records in ADP
Maintain job descriptions for all positions
Post open positions to various job boards
Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
Communicate new hires and terminations to relevant teams
Maintain and upload personnel files and documents to HRIS
Track and report background and drug screening results
Answer HR line and handle basic inquiries
Administer and support associate recognition programs (e.g., SHG MVPs, Values Champions)
Order and update employment law posters; monitor changes in state/federal posting requirements
Assist in benefits support in coordination with above-property HR
Provide associate relations and engagement support
Participate in HR meetings, track weekly accomplishments, and assist with monthly HR objectives
Provide administrative support for HR events and special projects
Perform various other duties as assigned
Associates degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, including at least 1 year of administrative HR support
- Prior Human Resources experience within the Hospitality Industry is strongly preferred
Experience in HR functions such as job postings, interviews, onboarding, recognition programs, and compliance
Proficient in HRIS systems, preferably ADP
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations
Tech-savvy and capable of learning new HR systems and platforms
