Position Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location Watertown, Connecticut (On-site Leadership Role)

Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for a multi-project environment.
Ensure accurate Work in Progress (WIP) schedules, job costing, and revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP and construction accounting standards.
Manage accounting operations, including AR/AP, payroll, and cash flow strategies.
Review contracts for financial and risk considerations; maintain bonding and insurance requirements.
Drive financial process improvements and implement technology solutions for reporting and efficiency.
Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering accuracy and accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
10+ years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 5 years in construction or contracting.
Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, WIP reporting, and percentage-of-completion methods.
Experience managing cash flow, bonding capacity, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
