Role summary : Salesforce Solution Architect – Senior. This is a rapidly growing area with opportunities to develop your skillset to meet the digital landscape demands. EY’s Salesforce practice drives enterprise Salesforce.com implementations across all project phases (discovery, definition, build, test, deploy). After our sales team wins a project, you’ll serve as the main client contact to ensure delivery is on-time and on-budget. Responsibilities Identify customer requirements and develop front-end components and services integral to the software architecture. Actively contribute to business processes or solutions, selecting methodologies to meet client service metrics, quality, risk management, business growth and teaming objectives. Define and execute deliverables with efficiency; manage completion and maintain engagement economics reports. Track resource plans and budgets, and handle project statuses. Participate in client sessions as a workstream member or team lead. Travel as required based on client needs; maintain chargeability with billable hours to external clients. Skills and attributes for success Excellent oral and written communication; comfortable leading conversations with audiences at all levels. Ability to lead discovery meetings to identify system requirements and understand business processes with the client. Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) CRM and multiple end-to-end implementations; Salesforce integration experience with middleware tools. Deep Salesforce experience including APEX APIs, Triggers, VisualForce, APIs, AppExchange; hands-on Salesforce configuration, workflows, and approvals. Ability to lead solutioning and design of the Salesforce platform; identify gaps between current and future state. Knowledge of Salesforce configuration and platform capabilities; work with developers to define specifications for custom code or data migration. Ability to create and manage project timelines and economics for on-time, on-budget delivery; identify risks and support change management; Agile delivery methodologies. Proficiency in application development tools; quality assurance and software development expertise; systems integration skills. Building relationships, client trust, and emotional agility; strong problem-solving abilities. Qualifications A four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business Systems or related field. Experience typically 2-4 years in a relevant field, implementing Salesforce.com with teams of 5+ people; hands-on configuration and customization. Familiar with relational database concepts. Self-starter; able to handle multiple tasks and priorities; excellent communication, leadership and client development skills. Salesforce.com certification(s); willingness to travel to meet client demand as needed. Ideally, you’ll also have Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics; Master’s degree preferred. Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred.
