Location: Houston, TX
Compensation: $200,000 – $300,000 base salary + performance-based bonus

Overview

Vice President of Construction – Data Centers based in Houston, TX with responsibility for leading data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of data center construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage multiple project teams to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality goals are achieved.
• Oversee project financials, including forecasting, cost controls, and overall P&L accountability.
• Build and maintain client relationships to secure repeat business.
• Partner with senior leadership to set strategy and expand our data center market presence.
• Leverage existing industry contacts to support business development and growth initiatives.
• Mentor and develop project leaders while promoting best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction leadership experience, with significant time spent on mission-critical/data center projects.
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects with direct P&L responsibility.
• Strong network of contacts among owners, developers, contractors, and consultants in the data center space.
• Skilled in contracts, risk management, and project controls.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
