American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for NICU with at least 2 years of experience and required national certifications for a day shift contract.Job Details•Work in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a level two trauma center,•Day shift position, 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 to 19:00,•Weekend shifts are required,•NICU patient population with specialized neonatal cases,•Epic EMR experience required,•All travelers are expected to float within the hospital or to nearby sister hospitals,Job Requirements•Active RRT credential,•Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required,•Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP,•NPS certification preferred,•Epic charting experience required,•License required if applicable,•Must provide at least 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years within a comparable specialty or setting,•Not accepting local candidates within a 50-mile radius,•One requested time off (RTO) per contract allowed,Additional Information•Responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to neonatal patients,•Must be willing to float between similar units and facilities as needed,•All travelers must work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day),•Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers,•Any color scrubs are permitted,•Parking is provided at no cost,•First-time travelers are accepted for this position,•Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start,•References from Charge RNs and Leads are acceptable for consideration,),•hash,:• ,
