The Operations and Maintenance division manages daily operations of the facility. The CIP division leads a major public works program including a 10-year CIP valued at about $1.4 billion to support wastewater treatment services for 1.7 million residents and 17,000 businesses. Position Duties
The Environmental Services Department is seeking two (2) full-time Wastewater Facility Principal Engineer vacancies. This is an electrical engineering discipline-specific position. The Principal Engineer provides subject-matter technical expertise in electrical design, construction, and operations. Responsibilities include development, review, and approval of engineering studies, design guidelines and standards, design criteria, equipment specifications, technology selection, process control strategies, operational strategies, and plans and specifications. Strong hands-on design experience in cogeneration, advanced automation and controls, and relay coordination is required.
