Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

The Position

The company is looking to add a Sales Executive in Chicago to expand its customer base and support account growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with freight forwarding experience who is eager to advance their career in sales within an established, growth-minded organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and secure new business in air and ocean freight forwarding
• Manage and develop existing customer relationships to increase revenue
• Work closely with internal operations teams to provide end-to-end service solutions
• Prepare client proposals, presentations, and rate quotes
• Track and report sales activity and pipeline progress to management
• Keep up to date with market conditions, trade developments, and competitor activity

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in freight forwarding (sales or operations with commercial exposure)
• Knowledge of international air and ocean logistics processes
• Driven, ambitious, and results-oriented with a competitive edge
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities
• Based in the Chicago area with familiarity of regional logistics opportunities
