Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will specialize in civil litigation cases, handling a variety of disputes and ensuring the best outcomes for our clients. You will be responsible for representing clients in court, conducting legal research, and managing all aspects of civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in civil litigation cases in court and through negotiations. Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis. Manage case files and maintain detailed records of case progress and outcomes. Provide legal counsel to clients on civil litigation matters and strategies for resolution. Negotiate settlements and facilitate alternative dispute resolution when applicable. Stay informed on legal developments and changes in civil law to provide the best representation.
Qualifications
License to practice law in Florida Proven experience in civil litigation, particularly with garnishments. Strong research and writing skills, with proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis preferred. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
