Our customer is an AWS premier partner. The company is hiring an Amazon Connect Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based contact center solutions for their customers.
Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Amazon Connect solutions including contact flows, routing profiles, IVR systems, and omnichannel features.
  • Integrate Amazon Connect with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway) and third-party applications (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Build and maintain serverless solutions and automation to enhance contact center performance, scalability, and security.
  • Support migrations (e.g., Lex V1 to V2), optimize flows, and improve customer self-service experiences.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform) for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing Amazon Connect configurations to ensure uptime, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver high-quality, secure, and customer-focused solutions.
  • Document designs, integrations, and configurations to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-6 years of software engineering experience with a focus on Amazon Connect and AWS services.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Node.js, Java, or C++) for AWS integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
  • Knowledge of contact center technologies including IVR, call routing, and customer experience optimization.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
  • AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, Developer Associate) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
