Chief Human Resources Officer - Hands-On HR Leadership - PE backed | Nashville, TN Finatal is exclusively partnered with a $110M Commercial HVAC maintenance business, headquartered in Nashville, backed by a leading private equity firm. With aggressive high-growth targets by the end of 2025 and a clear value-creation mission, this is a high-intensity, transformation driven environment that requires leadership, structure, and build-out. We’re hiring a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) who proves to be hands-on, execution focused, and ready to lead a team towards success. This role includes stabilizing HR operations, supporting organizational design within multi-site businesses, talent acquisition and development, and leading team build-out in a blue collar environment. You’ll work alongside a brand-new executive team (CEO, COO, CFO, SVP Sales) and sponsor, shaping the future of a service-driven, blue-collar business. Key Responsibilities
Lead the HR function across an 800-employee workforce (corporate, manufacturing, and 600+ field technicians). Implement structure, policies, and compliance programs where gaps exist. Drive recruiting, retention, and performance management improvements across all levels. Partner with leadership to redesign organization structure and align HR with business strategy. Champion a culture of accountability and teamwork. Requirements
Proven track record as a senior HR leader (CHRO or similar) in a blue collar, high-volume service environment. Talent Acquisition and Development experience. Private equity experience strongly preferred (but not required). Skilled in policy development and change management within multi-site businesses. Seniority level
