Our Forensic Technology Services team provides eDiscovery and investigation support through experienced computer forensics, data science, cybersecurity and privacy professionals.
What will you be doing? Serving as a practice leader and primary client contact, you will work with clients to provide eDiscovery support leveraging a broad range of technologies and best practices to uncover and manage data-based evidence across contentious legal and regulatory situations. You will be responsible for engagement quality and success, assisting clients in litigation support on projects including domestic and cross-border disputes, internal and public investigations, and other matter types. Establish consultative relationships with clients to guide them toward best practices in meeting eDiscovery support needs.
Serve as the primary point of client contact in the execution of projects involving identification, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored data relevant to litigation or investigations.
Collaborate with clients to implement efficient workflows, identify and mitigate risk, apply quality control practices, address technical challenges to make ESI discoverable, viewable and useful.
Lead a broad team of junior professionals supporting each phase of delivery.
Communicate with clients and team members about commitments, deadlines, project status, and delivery challenges.
Maintain coordination with clients and team members to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of required support tasks and project objectives.
Manage end-to-end projects, including planning, resourcing, organizing, and staff management on active engagements.
Lead external and internal meetings to review work results.
Ensure eDiscovery best practices are followed and perform quality control checks for accuracy and reliability of analysis.
Demonstrate expertise with eDiscovery tools such as Relativity and Brainspace.
Prepare and update documentation of progress and milestones, including summaries of team delivery, tracking, and reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlining.
Core Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; preferred fields include computer science, information management, data science, or related areas.
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Fast learner with ability to adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes
Experience with industry-standard review and production tools (Relativity, Reveal, Nuix, Brainspace); certifications preferred but not required.
Extensive experience with standard eDiscovery methodology and client service delivery (at least 7 years).
Solid understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
Advanced experience with Relativity Server and Relativity One as a user and DBA.
Experience with document review management is beneficial but not required.
J.D. preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range is $130,000 - $175,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A discretionary bonus program is offered based on performance. Regular employees may participate in healthcare, flexible spending accounts, life, AD&D, disability coverages, 401(k) with discretionary contribution, paid time off including vacation, personal days, sick time, holidays, floating holiday, and parental leave.
