ProSidian Seeks a Safety Trainer | Training | Education | Capacity Building [NIH0013018] for Program Support on an Exempt 1099 Contract — No Overtime Pay Basis — Contingent location CONUS (Bethesda, Maryland) and across the Mid-Atlantic region, supporting comprehensive industrial hygiene, environmental health, and safety services to protect researchers, patients, visitors, and staff while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional standards.

Job Overview

Provide services as a Safety Trainer in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as NIH/HHS. The role is generally located in Bethesda, Maryland and across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Empower NIH personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary for confident and safe work.

Responsibilities and Duties

Develop NIH-specific curricula for lab safety, biosafety, and emergency protocols.

Deliver in-person and e-learning training.

Maintain training databases and compliance records.

Evaluate knowledge retention and program effectiveness.

Qualifications and Requirements

Safety training experience in laboratory or healthcare settings.

Bachelor’s in Safety, Education, or Public Health; 3–5 years of experience.

Skills and Competencies

Ancillary: Creates NIH compliance-focused safety manuals; advises managers on training gaps.

Core competencies: Teamwork, Leadership, Business Acumen, Communication, Motivation, Agility, Judgment, Organization.
