Overview
AI Business Solutions – Cloud Solution Architect role focused on guiding customers through AI transformation on the Microsoft platform. In this customer-facing role you will own both the business applications-focused technical relationship and technical strategy between the customer and Microsoft, helping customers to leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture, implementation and operational health engagements. This role may be filled across various business groups for different customer sizes within enterprise, regulated, and partner services organizations. You may be considered for multiple opportunities within Microsoft across the United States, including locations beyond where the role is posted. Customer Centricity: Drive Customer Satisfaction, become a trusted advisor by leveraging M365 Enterprise Services to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes. Actively listen and respectfully challenge to drive the best outcomes. Customer Insights: Provide feedback and insights from customers to relevant Microsoft teams for continuous improvement. Business Impact: Drive Cloud & Support consumption growth by helping business and technical decision makers understand M365 value and derive value from Microsoft technologies. Resolution of Customer Blockers: Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects; lead technical conversations to drive value; deliver work per Microsoft best practices and repeatable IP. Technical Leadership: Demonstrate a self-learner mindset; align skilling with team demands and Customer Success goals; accelerate customer outcomes by contributing to IP creation and knowledge sharing. Other: Embody Microsoft culture and values. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 2+ years in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting. OR equivalent experience. 2+ years on technical projects with experience designing and deploying AI/Microsoft 365 solutions or related, plus knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures for integrating on-premises workloads with Azure resources. Breadth of technical experience with depth in Microsoft 365 Copilot and at least one of: Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Endpoint (Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop and/or Windows 365). Other Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s in related field with extensive experience (8+ years or 6+ years with Master’s) in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting; or equivalent experience. 4+ years in a customer-facing role and 4+ years on technical projects. Change management experience and/or PROSCI certification. Business and sales acumen; technical cloud certifications; deep knowledge of cloud/hybrid messaging, collaboration, and unified environments. Depth in two or more Microsoft 365 solutions (e.g., Teams, Teams Phone & Rooms, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Windows & Cloud Endpoint, Identity and Access Management, Information Protection, Governance & Risk Management, Compliance). Base pay ranges vary by level and location. IC3 across the U.S.: USD 85,100–169,800; locations like San Francisco Bay Area and NYC metropolitan area have higher ranges (USD 112,000–185,300). IC4 across the U.S.: USD 106,400–203,600; higher ranges in SF Bay Area/NYC (USD 137,600–222,600). Benefits and other compensation eligible.
