Supply Chain Manager, Antennas – Tesla
Tesla is seeking a Global Supply Manager (GSM) to lead electronics hardware sourcing for antennas, PCBA, mechanical parts, and finished assemblies. You will develop, refine, and execute sourcing strategies to access advanced technologies at competitive terms and costs, partnering with Tesla’s engineering groups to optimize total cost of ownership while driving cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Tesla is looking for a strong technical sourcing professional with experience in contract manufacturing, PCBA, mechanical fabrication, and semiconductor supply chains. Reporting to the Supply Chain Group Manager, you will build robust relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support high-volume production in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do
Own the RFx Process: Lead the end-to-end RFx cycle, including preparing and issuing RFQs to potential manufacturing and supply partners; analyze responses; negotiate terms; obtain internal approvals; and nominate partner(s) meeting Tesla’s strategic objectives Collaborate on Product Launches: Work with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to manage New Product Introductions (NPI) and scale to mass production Build Category Strategies: Develop, align, and execute category strategies to meet long-term supply chain objectives and inform executive-level decisions Become a Category Expert: Gain deep knowledge of the supply base, fabrication/assembly processes, materials, lead times, global trends, and emerging technologies to enable proactive decision-making Assess and Mitigate Risks: Evaluate global supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to support high-volume production Contract Management: Ensure NDAs, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and related contracts are in place before initiating business Develop Supplier Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and monitoring processes for selected suppliers to enable visibility into trends, risks, and opportunities What You'll Bring
7+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement with a focus on antenna, PCBA, or electronics manufacturing Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience Excellent data-driven decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and measurable impact Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams and levels Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams to drive alignment and execute sourcing strategies Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships for strategic collaboration and mutual growth Experience managing core PCBA manufacturing, material planning, strategic sourcing, inventory control, should-cost analysis, and risk management Deep understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, through-hole, testing, final assembly) Familiarity with key semiconductor components in automotive applications (MCUs, SoCs, power electronics such as MOSFETs) Benefits and Compensation
Expected Compensation: $82,800 - $189,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay may vary based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
