What to Expect Tesla is seeking best in class PCBA Global Supply Manager (GSM) to lead most advanced Autopilot hardware for variety of Tesla cutting edge products. You will develop and lead sourcing strategies for Tesla autopilot PCBA and key custom semiconductor components, ensuring Tesla has access to best-in-class technology at the most competitive cost; closely involve in every development stage and component selections; contribute towards full autonomous driving realization! The responsible GSM shall have strong technical understanding of PCBA manufacturing, semiconductor supply chains, and electronic components to be able to support core engineer team development. This role will report to our Supply Chain Group Manager and in parallel be an active sourcing resource supporting our various Engineering groups within Tesla. The Global Supply Manager builds and leverages strong working relationships with our engineering teams and key suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met. They work toward good supplier relationships and total costs of ownership to achieve maximum advantage for Tesla and our customers. What You’ll Do

Owner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiated

Drive negotiation for piece price and product development to ensure that Tesla's pricing meets best-landed-cost expectations as well as Supplier Industrialization standards of Best-In-Class quality

Develop key performance measures for chosen suppliers and negotiate on multiple variables to award longer-term strategic contracts that result in significant cost reduction and improved service levels

Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless new product introduction(NPI) and mass production scaling

Communicate sourcing strategies effectively across stakeholders, influencing decision-making at the executive level while ensuring alignment across engineering, finance, and supply chain teams

Deeply understand semiconductor lead times, fabrication processes and constraints in global supply chains

Monitor current category market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges & opportunities

Monitor PCBA industry trends, including material availability, pricing shifts, and emerging technologies

Access global supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for Tesla high-volume production needs

What You’ll Bring

8+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement with a focus on PCBA or electronics manufacturing

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability

Excellent data-driven decision making, problem solving and analytical skills

Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable impact

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams and levels

Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and legal team to drive alignment and execute sourcing strategies

Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring strategic collaboration and mutual growth

Managing various aspects of core PCBA manufacturing, material planning, strategic sourcing, inventory control, should cost analysis, risk management

Deep understanding of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, through-hole, testing, and final assembly)

Familiarity with key semiconductor components in automotive applications such as MCUs, SoCs, power electronics(MOSFETs, LGBTs) etc.

Ability to thrive a fast-paced, high pressure environment with right deadlines

Expected Compensation $82,800 - $232,920/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
