Overview

Executive Assistant, School of Medicine, Georgetown University Medical Center provides central administrative support to the Dean’s senior leadership team and serves as the primary liaison for the Office of the Dean. The EA supports the Dean’s senior leaders, manages reception responsibilities, and helps ensure the smooth operation of the School of Medicine’s Office of the Dean. Responsibilities

Provide high-level administrative support to the Office of the Dean and directly support the Dean’s senior leadership team, including welcoming and directing visitors Coordinate and staff meetings and events for assigned senior leaders Manage calendars, business expenses, travel, presentations, notetaking, research, and other administrative needs for assigned senior leaders Provide administrative and project support to working groups, leadership searches, and SOM-wide initiatives Keep senior leaders informed of schedule changes, requests, and emerging issues; anticipate needs, prioritize issues, and prepare briefing materials Work Interactions

Reports to the Vice Dean & Chief of Operations within the Office of the Dean. Serves as a liaison between the Office of the Dean and faculty, staff, students, medical alumni, families, and other School of Medicine community members. Requires broad knowledge of University policies and operations and involves confidential duties requiring discretion, good judgment, tact, and poise. Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience At least 5 years of experience providing executive support to senior-level leadership Experience managing calendars and scheduling with competing demands Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficiency with MS Office and basic Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets) Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and requests Proactive problem-solving with strong decision-making skills Effective project and deadline management Exceptional judgment, customer service, organization, and attention to detail Experience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously Experience with Zoom, Georgetown Management System, and Concur travel Knowledge of Georgetown travel and business policies Experience in a medical school or academic health system preferred Work Mode Designation

$47,586.00 - $87,558.13 Current Georgetown Employees
