Reliability Test Engineer . This is a

area, as this opportunity requires onsite work. Pay/Salary Range:

Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Key Responsibilities

Lead and support all phases of product development with a focus on electrical reliability and validation testing. Create and implement test plans and procedures for electrical systems and components, including fuel dispensers and payment hardware. Conduct functional, environmental, and accelerated life testing to validate hardware and firmware/software performance. Analyze test data to identify failure modes, drive root cause analyses (RCA), and recommend corrective actions. Maintain a safety-first mindset by implementing safeguards and identifying testing hazards. Troubleshoot and resolve test equipment issues to ensure safety, continuity, and optimal uptime. Partner with cross-functional teamsdesign, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and lab operationsto refine testing requirements and drive continuous improvement. Utilize a range of test equipment, including in-circuit testers, environmental stress platforms, and FCC/EMC setups. Maintain documentation of protocols, test reports, and failure analysis. Contribute to FRACAS and lead initiatives to improve test efficiency and coverage. Support compliance with regulatory standards (UL, CUL, ATEX, CENAM) and collaborate with external certification bodies. Mentor junior engineers and technicians in best practices for testing and analysis. Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered. Minimum of 4 years in test engineering, ideally with electro-mechanical systems. Solid understanding of environmental testing and design validation methodologies. Hands-on experience with electrical testing, accelerated life testing, and test automation. Familiarity with Design for Testability (DFT), statistical analysis, and data acquisition systems. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for identifying and resolving complex failures. Working knowledge of industry standards such as UL, IEC, ASTM. Experience with FRACAS processes is a plus. ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer or equivalent certification is preferred but not required. If you are interested in this job, please click APPLY NOW.
