Customer Service Specialist

Join our team as a Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, where you'll work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about our products, and provide the best solutions. Your role will involve ensuring maximum client satisfaction and resolving any concerns promptly while keeping up-to-date with product features and maintaining our high quality and visual standards. This full-time position requires dedication to achieving excellent customer service while consistently meeting sales goals. You will be located at Store #725673, specifically at 9550 Brier Creek Parkway Raleigh NC 27617, and are expected to work up to 40 hours per week. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service. Assisting customers in person and over the phone by assessing their needs and recommending appropriate products and services. Building strong, trustworthy relationships with both wholesale and retail customers. Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Aiming to achieve and exceed sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly. Maintaining precise work order files and product formulas. Retrieving appropriate products from sales and warehouse areas. Utilizing tinting and mixing equipment to meet customer specifications. Keeping shelves stocked and setting up attractive displays. Cleaning store equipment regularly. Loading and unloading delivery trucks. Assisting with deliveries when necessary. Ensuring assigned areas are in-stock and presentable. Keeping knowledgeable about products and discussing options with customers. Following inventory control procedures. Suggesting ways to improve store sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Must be legally authorized to work in the country. Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must be capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Availability to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation is essential. Preferred Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role. Prior experience selling paint and related products is an advantage.
