The Sr. Manager – IT Active Directory will be a critical function responsible for the daily operations and transformation of Kraft Heinz’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. This position will oversee architecture, strategy, resource management, workload prioritization, authentication, and collaboration with partners to ensure operational excellence. The role requires a strong understanding of Active Directory and Entra to execute projects, daily activities, troubleshooting efforts, and setting clear expectations, goals, and success metrics. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external partners to understand business requirements, critical processes, data flows, and future strategies, providing leadership to shape and enhance the user experience while modernizing legacy infrastructure.
The Main Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce Active Directory and Entra ID security controls across platforms to comply with IAM and industry standards.
Identify weaknesses in Active Directory and Entra ID, and develop corrective action plans to mitigate risks while maintaining a seamless user experience.
Design, implement, and support strategic initiatives, including passwordless technologies.
Manage Active Directory and Entra ID administration, including user accounts, authentication, policies, trust relationships, domain controllers, and replication.
Oversee disaster recovery, AAD Connect, health monitoring, and troubleshoot related issues.
Ensure the scalability and availability of the AD infrastructure to support enterprise growth.
Participate in projects with IAM, architectural, development, engineering teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and adaptable IAM solutions.
Evaluate existing and future Active Directory standards and architecture.
Build strong partnerships based on trust and value.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant information security experience or equivalent.
Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, and other identity management solutions.
Expertise in AD security, vulnerability management, and remediation.
Proven experience implementing security initiatives and frameworks flexibly.
Strong scripting skills: PowerShell, batch, bash, C#.
Solid networking knowledge: Wireshark, LDAP/LDAPS, SSL/TLS, cipher suites.
Familiarity with standards like FIPS 140, NIST 800, and frameworks such as NIST CSF.
