Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen, part of the Noble Food & Pursuits family, is a busy, casual upscale restaurant in Uptown Charlotte. We focus on straightforward, wood-fired cooking and friendly service that keeps our guests coming back. We’re hiring a Server Assistant/Expo to help keep service running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support servers, run food, clear and reset tables, and take care of the details that make for a great guest experience. The position also offers room to grow into other roles within the restaurant for those interested in building a career in hospitality. What You’ll Do
Assist servers with all aspects of table maintenance, ensuring sections remain clean, stocked, and guest-ready. Run food to tables promptly and accurately, communicating clearly with servers and kitchen staff. Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guest, keeping pace with the flow of service. Anticipate guest needs, from water refills to table adjustments, always aiming to enhance the dining experience. Complete assigned sidework and station duties with consistency and accountability. A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills. Dependability and consistency in showing up ready to support both guests and coworkers.
