TalentLNX is seeking a

Director of Pharmacy

to lead clinical, operational, and administrative pharmacy functions for a new acute care hospital campus in the Greater DallasFort Worth area. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready to shape systems from the ground up. Youll oversee all inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services while partnering closely with clinical and executive teams to drive safety, efficiency, and excellence in care delivery. This role is onsite at a newly launched acute care hospital in Irving, TX. Responsibilities

Oversee all pharmacy operations across hospital departments and service lines Design, implement, and continuously improve medication-use systems in accordance with best practices Ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy, DEA, CMS, TJC, and other applicable regulations Manage pharmacy inventory, purchasing, storage, and controlled substance security Build and develop a high-performing pharmacy team through hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management Collaborate cross-functionally with nursing, medical staff, and hospital administration to align on clinical workflows and organizational priorities Manage department budget, purchasing strategies, and financial performance Support implementation and oversight of 340B drug pricing program and pharmacy technology systems Lead departmental quality assurance initiatives and monitor key clinical and operational metrics Represent the pharmacy department in hospital leadership meetings, regulatory preparation, and strategic planning efforts Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Texas (active and in good standing) Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy (Bachelors degree required; PharmD preferred) Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in a hospital pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (TJC, USP

/ , CMS) and compliance requirements Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, inventory systems, and cross-functional initiatives Experience supporting or building pharmacy operations in new hospital builds, expansions, or major transitions strongly preferred Familiarity with 340B program administration and pharmacy automation systems a plus Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and team leadership abilities This is a senior leadership role based on-site at a newly launched acute care hospital within a growing regional health system. You will be supported by an engaged executive team and play a key role in building pharmacy standards, processes, and culture from day one. Compensation

Base pay range : $135,000.00/yr - $162,000.00/yr Hourly Rate:

$65$78/hr Estimated Annual Salary:
