The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to serve as an executive leader with a focus on emergency medicine and the oversight of all nursing practices within the medical center. The CNO will be responsible for providing strategic direction, administration, and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, nursing efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role is pivotal in aligning nursing practices with the broader health system's standards and goals, while maintaining a strong commitment to patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be an essential member of the facility's leadership team, supporting both facility-level operations and system-wide strategies for nursing excellence.
Candidates for the CNO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in nursing, a graduate degree in a related field, and at least five years of successful supervisory or management experience in the healthcare industry. Current RN licensure in the appropriate state is required. The role demands a leader with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and problem-solving, and a strong background in educational planning, performance consulting, and team building. The CNO will be expected to have a deep understanding of safety and infection control, regulatory standards, and corporate and regional policies and procedures. Proficiency in office equipment, computer systems, and knowledge of human resource management practices, including supervision and staff development, is also essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and have excellent time management abilities.
