Senior Cloud Solution Architect - Data & AI

to join our Federal organization. You will understand customers’ overall data estate, business and IT priorities, and success measures to design Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value, customer satisfaction, and trusted advisory relationships. You will ensure solutions exhibit high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, reusability, and reliability; provide feedback and insights from customers/partners. You will develop opportunities to drive customer success and help customers derive value from Microsoft investments; identify resolutions to blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise; deliver according to Microsoft best practices and reusable IP. You will apply technical knowledge to architect and design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data & Analytics roadmaps, drive POCs and MVPs, and ensure long-term technical viability with AI infusions where appropriate. You will be the Voice of Customer to share insights, connect with Engineering to remove blockers and drive product improvements. You will maintain technical skills, stay current with market trends, and collaborate with the AI technical community while educating customers on Azure. You will accelerate customer outcomes by sharing expertise, contributing to IP creation and reuse, and obtaining relevant accreditations and certifications. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting, or equivalent experience. Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements. This includes the Microsoft Cloud Background Check to be passed upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Citizenship verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based restrictions for certain government customers. Citizenship will be verified via a valid passport. Additional/Preferred Qualifications

Experience levels and degrees as listed, with 8+ years in cloud/infrastructure technologies and related fields; or a Master’s degree with 6+ years; equivalent experience recognized. 4+ years in a customer-facing role, and 4+ years on technical Data & AI projects in an enterprise cloud environment. Technical cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Google, security, etc.). 4+ years deploying AI/ML solutions in enterprise or US Public Sector environments, including computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics. 4+ years in POC design, solution design, and production deployment of AI/ML solutions, bridging research prototypes to scalable systems. 4+ years working with MLOps, MLFlow, and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) in cloud environments, including model versioning, CI/CD, and monitoring at scale. 2+ years briefing executive-level customers with impactful presentations leading to contracts or adoption. 2+ years designing secure, compliant cloud-native architectures for regulated industries or government agencies. 2+ years translating business requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions, including cost estimation, resource planning, and roadmaps. 1+ year deploying generative AI and large language models, including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for enterprise knowledge systems. Compensation

Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 — The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD 106,400 – 203,600 per year. Location-based ranges apply in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area (USD 137,600 – 222,600). Additional Information
