Responsibilities You will understand customers overall data estate, business and IT priorities, and success measures to design Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value, customer satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor. You will ensure solutions exhibit high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability, and you will provide feedback and insights from customers/partners. You will develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results, help customers get value from Microsoft investments, and resolve blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise. Deliver according to Microsoft best practices and using repeatable IP. You will apply technical knowledge to architect and design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data & Analytics roadmaps, drive Proof of Concepts (POC) and Minimal Viable Product (MVP), and ensure long-term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key AI technologies where appropriate. You will be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering to remove blockers and drive product improvements. You will maintain technical skills, stay up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate with the AI technical community and educate customers on the Azure platform. You will accelerate customer outcomes by sharing expertise, contributing to IP creation and reuse, and obtaining relevant accreditations and certifications.
Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, the Microsoft Cloud Background Check (required upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter). Citizenship verification for United States government-related work; verification via valid passport may be required.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree and/or 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, or related fields; or equivalent experience. 4+ years in a customer-facing role; 4+ years in Data & AI projects within an enterprise cloud environment. Technical cloud certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google, security). 4+ years deploying AI/ML solutions for enterprise or government environments (computer vision, NLP, predictive analytics). 4+ years in POC development, solution design, and production deployment of AI/ML solutions, bridging research prototypes to scalable systems. 4+ years with MLOps, MLFlow, PyTorch, TensorFlow in cloud environments, including model versioning, CI/CD, and performance monitoring at scale. 2+ years briefing executive-level customers with impactful presentations leading to contract wins or solution adoptions. 2+ years experience with cloud-native architectures on Azure, AWS, or GCP, focusing on secure, compliant solutions for regulated industries or government agencies. 2+ years translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, including cost estimation and roadmaps for AI/ML initiatives. 1+ years deploying generative AI/LLMs, prompt engineering, multi-model inference pipelines, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for enterprise knowledge systems.
