Responsibilities
Understand customers overall data estate, business and IT priorities, and success measures to design Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value and customer satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor. Ensure solutions exhibit high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, reusability, and reliability; provide feedback and insights from customers/partners. Develop opportunities to drive customer success and help customers derive value from Microsoft investments; identify resolutions to blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise; deliver according to Microsoft best practices and reusable IP. Apply technical knowledge to architect and design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data & Analytics roadmaps, drive POCs and MVPs, and ensure long-term technical viability of deployments while infusing AI technologies where appropriate. Act as the Voice of the Customer to share insights, connect with Engineering to remove blockers and drive product improvements. Maintain technical skills, stay up to date with market trends, collaborate with the AI technical community, and educate customers on the Azure platform. Accelerate customer outcomes by sharing expertise, contributing to IP creation and reuse, and obtaining relevant accreditations and certifications. Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check (pass upon hire/transfer and every two years). Citizenship verification for US government-related work; verification via valid passport where required by law. Additional/Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Masters degree in relevant fields with 8+ years (Bachelors) or 6+ years (Masters) of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, architecture, and related areas; or equivalent experience. 4+ years in a customer-facing role and 4+ years in Data & AI projects within an enterprise cloud environment. Technical cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP or security certifications). 4+ years of experience designing, prototyping, and deploying AI/ML solutions in enterprise or government environments (computer vision, NLP, predictive analytics). 4+ years in POC development, solution design, and production implementation of AI/ML solutions, translating research prototypes to scalable systems. 4+ years with MLOps, MLFlow, and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow in cloud environments, including model versioning, CI/CD, and performance monitoring at scale. 2+ years briefing executive audiences with a track record of driving contract wins or solution adoptions. 2+ years of experience with cloud-native architectures on major platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) in regulated industries or government agencies. 2+ years translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, including cost estimation and implementation roadmaps for AI/ML initiatives. 1+ year deploying and tuning generative AI/LLMs, including prompt engineering, multi-model inference pipelines, and RAG for enterprise knowledge systems. Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD 106,400 203,600 per year. A different range may apply in San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area (USD 137,600 222,600). Some roles may be eligible for additional benefits and compensation.
