We are looking for a
Senior Cloud Solution Architect
–
Data & A.I , who is passionate about driving our customers’ transformation on Microsoft Azure. This is a customer-facing role, owning the technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft, helping customers leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture and operational health engagements.
You will understand customers’ overall data estate, business and IT priorities, and success measures to design Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value, deliver customer satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor.
You will ensure that solutions exhibit high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, reusability, and reliability upon deployment; provide feedback and insights from customers/partners.
You will develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results and help customers derive value from their Microsoft investments, identifying resolutions to blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise. Deliver according to MS best practices and using repeatable IP.
You will apply technical knowledge to architect and design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data & Analytics roadmaps, drive PoC and MVP efforts, and ensure long-term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key AI technologies where appropriate.
You will be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering teams to remove blockers and drive product improvements.
You will maintain technical skills and knowledge, stay up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the AI technical community while educating customers on Azure platform.
You will accelerate customer outcomes by sharing expertise, contributing to IP creation and reuse to accelerate outcomes, and obtaining relevant accreditations and certifications.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 6 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience. 4 years of experience working in a customer-facing role (internal and/or external). 4 years of experience working on technical projects in Data & AI in an enterprise cloud environment. Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google, security certifications). 4 years of experience in designing, prototyping, and operationalizing AI/ML solutions for enterprise and/or large U.S. Public Sector customer environments, including successful implementations of computer vision, natural language processing, and predictive analytics systems. 4 years of experience in PoC development, solution design, and production implementation of AI/ML solutions, with ability to bridge the gap between research prototypes and scalable, resilient production systems. 4 years working with MLOps workflows, MLFlow, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow in cloud environments, including model versioning, automated testing, CI/CD of ML models, and performance monitoring at scale. 2 years of experience briefing executive-level customers with a track record of creating impactful presentations for senior leadership and influencing decisions resulting in contract wins or solution adoptions. 2 years of experience with cloud-native architectures on major platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), designing and implementing secure, compliant solutions for regulated industries or government agencies. 2 years of hands-on experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, including cost estimation, resource planning, and implementation roadmaps for AI/ML initiatives. 1 year of experience deploying and fine-tuning generative AI and large language models (LLMs), implementing prompt engineering practices, multi-model inference pipelines, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for enterprise knowledge systems.
Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 –
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 – $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 – $222,600 per year.
