Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Associate to join the legal team of a successful San Jose firm. This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in family law. This role requires excellent research and writing skills. The Law Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys with legal drafting, case preparation, and client interactions.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies.
Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and contracts with precision and clarity.
Collaborate with senior attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings.
Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
Provide administrative support as needed, including managing schedules and client communications.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction is preferred.
Strong understanding of Family Law issues.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
