Overview

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness. This role is a Truck Driver position based in Rochester, MN, hauling fertilizer to local customers and grain to CHS facilities. The role offers home daily status with ample overtime during the spring and fall seasons. Base pay range is $18.85/hr - $30.10/hr and pay may vary based on skills and experience.

Summary: CHS Rochester is looking for a Truck Driver to join our team. A Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely pick up/deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Assist with loading or unloading as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service: greet customers promptly and courteously, address concerns, and escalate to leadership when required.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including pre-trip/post-trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) and work environment.
• Complete and document daily maintenance inspections and oversee proper equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture; follow safety policies, PPE procedures, and report hazards or unsafe actions.
• Report incidents, accidents, and traffic violations to the supervisor immediately.
• Enroll in and complete mandatory CHS random drug and alcohol testing and the Continuous Monitoring Program.
• Assist operational staff and perform other duties as needed, including intercompany driving when required.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Class A CDL
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway signs and signals

Additional Qualifications

• Maintain a CDL and DOT medical card
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends
• Hazmat, Tanker, Air Brake endorsements preferred
• Agriculture background preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift experience preferred
• Pre-employment screening as required by job and industry guidelines (drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physicals, and FMCSA Clearinghouse)

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
