The Role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting project leadership from preconstruction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who’s eager to step into larger, more challenging projects while learning directly from senior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Collaborate with field staff to track progress and maintain jobsite safety and quality
  • Build strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners
  • Provide detailed reporting and documentation to support project milestones

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of construction project management experience (commercial, K-12, higher education, or healthcare a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
