Overview
We are looking for a Full time receptionist to manage our front desk and also perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties. This is an important role in our company as you are the first point of contact for our business, either on the phone or when greeting clients as they enter the office.
Duties
- This position’s duties will include offering administrative assistance to the owner and other staff in the office.
- Greeting all guests as they enter and answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls on multiple phone lines.
- Keeping the lobby area clean and organized.
- You will be scheduling appointments and managing the owner's schedule.
- This position will also entail clerical duties that include, mailings, copying and filing.
- Depending on experience bookkeeping a payroll processing as well.
To be successful in this position you will need to have an outgoing personality who is willing to interact with all clients. Great communication and organizational skills is a must. This is an accounting & tax office so during the season it can become extremely busy. We need someone who can work in a fast paced environment and provide excellent customer service at the same time. Multitasking and stress management skills are critical for this position.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or similar position.
- Quickbooks knowledge. (or similar software).
- Experience with payroll is a plus.
- Professional appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Knowledge in Google Workspace & MS Office.
- Self motivated.
- Time management skills.
- Punctual and strong attendance history.
