Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Electrician I for commercial and industrial environments. You will perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance on projects that demand precision, safety, and collaboration.
Base pay range
Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $48.00/hr
Up to $180 per diem (per day) with OT opportunities.

As a Licensed Electrician I, you’ll be responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance in commercial and industrial environments. You’ll work on cutting-edge projects that demand safety and teamwork. Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply blueprints on job sites
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Layout and install conduit systems, lighting systems, control systems, and motor feeders
- Mentor and guide Helpers/Apprentices
- Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and job site cleanliness
- Collaborate with team members and work independently when needed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in renewable energy systems and implement them as needed
- Provide assistance and advice on electrical systems during planning and design of new projects
Qualifications
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent experience (8,000 hours)
- Valid electrician license and up-to-date training
- Willingness to travel 60–75%
- Flexible availability Monday–Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM, with potential for nights, weekends, and holidays
- 5+ years of experience as an electrician in commercial or industrial settings
- Proven experience with control systems, motor feeders, and connections
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures, OSHA standards, and related guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to mentor team members
- Valid electrician's license and proof of insurance
