Responsible for the installation, programming, troubleshooting, repair and maintaining all electrical, electronic and mechanical components for electrical distribution equipment, breakers, panels, motors; HVAC controls and access and locking systems, security cameras, recorders and network devices. Provides technical coordination and client liaison in the implementation of major and minor repairs/projects for electrical distribution, security and security surveillance system upgrades. Working with customers oversees small internal and external projects. Provides technical guidance, oversight and leadership to lower level technical staff and contractors. This position will be required to perform on-call rotation and provide technical callback assistance. This position has been designated as essential personnel during inclement/hazardous weather and other emergencies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Installs, programs, repairs and makes modifications to security video surveillance systems.
2. Installs, troubleshoots, programs, repairs and makes modifications on a variety of electrical equipment, HVAC controls and equipment, access control boards and third party security devices.
3. Provides scope of work, estimates project costs and schedule with direct consultation of Department representatives.
This position is designated as essential personnel during inclement/hazardous weather and other emergencies.
