Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial and industrial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in various electrical systems and components. This role involves working on construction sites, performing installations, renovations, and maintenance of electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints and schematics, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
  • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical equipment.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform low voltage and high voltage installations as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project completion.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and NEC regulations at all times.
  • Assist in renovation projects by providing electrical expertise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Industrial Electrician.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
  • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices.
  • Background in frame carpentry or maintenance person tasks is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
